2019.12.02 11:37 StereotypicalItalian[TOMT] [WEBSITE] Extensive RPG test seemingly vanished
I remember doing this RPG test dozens of times a few years ago, there were dozens of questions and (if I remember correctly) something like 70 or 80 character that you could end up being. If I remember correctly it was on helloquizzy but I can't find it. Is it gone forever or I'm just looking in the wrong place? I remember one of the question was like what king of gift you want from a genie.
2019.08.28 19:50 lionbaby917Looking for a good daemon test. Suggestions?
There was a good daemon test I stumbled upon 7 or 8 years ago at hello quizzy. Whoever created it gave a lot of thought in how to structure the questions and answers. Significantly more in depth than a buzzfeed style quiz, or even the patronus quiz on pottermore. Unfortunately I think the quiz has disappeared from the internet. Wondering if anyone else has suggestions to a good daemon quiz. A quick reddit search didn’t come up with anything other than a link to the defunct hello quizzy referenced above.
2018.04.13 09:46 GurtangLooking for the "Remarkably thorough character quiz"
Hi guys, I'm sorry if I'm doing anything wrong as I'm basically a muggle when it comes to this sub, but I just have one question. I had saved this quiz that is basically a long personality test where the results were HP characters instead of the usual "PTS-D" or whatever personality profiles (I'm guessing that's what it was). But as you can see, the link is dead : https://www.helloquizzy.com/results/the-remarkably-thorough-harry-potter-character-test So does anyone know if it still exists somewhere? Or has an equivalent one? Thanks everyone!
2018.02.17 01:14 AWolfInTheTardisI’m looking for a cancelled daemon test and its author and I need some help
Hello, there was once a Daemon Quiz at this link daemon test But in 2017 it was cancelled for some reason (and so did helloquizzy.com, the site that was hosting the test). I’m desperately looking for a way to make it again and bring it online. I’m looking for the author too, I know she (i think they’re a she) was on “the daemon forum” which is still online, with the name “Carol”. But this is about some years ago I suspect. Someone can help me? TL;DR I’m looking for the old daemon test and the author of it too Thank you all
2017.11.29 17:30 Salkin3000Where did the big (125 question) sorting quiz go? Are there any real alternatives to the Pottermore quiz?
Okay so even though the title says pretty much everything, I wanna talk about sorting quizzes. In my opinion the one from Pottermore is ... well... let's just say i think the big quiz from Hello Quizzy was more accurate. It got most of my friends houses right and it felt way more accurate (given that you fill out more questions). Today i wanted a friend of mine to take this test but it seems that it is no longer available. I already tried the Wayback Machine but this didn't work. Does anyone have an alternative quiz? Or maybe even the actual one from Hello Quizzy? Hope someone can help me :)
2017.02.05 16:25 TT-KingPolyamory & John Lee's 6 Love Styles; Do Polys Score Differently & Will Mania Work?
Hey guys, recently I've been looking a lot into Polyamory and wondering if it is something for me. However, I discovered to my surprise no posts talking about John Lee's 6 Love Styles in relation to Polyamory. I can't imagine they don't have anything to say about each other. Some general information about John Lee's Love Styles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_wheel_theory_of_love An online quiz to take it yourself: https://www.helloquizzy.com/tests/the-love-attitudes-scale-test-1 A video from 'sexplanations' about it if you don't like to read: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Al1rQKIllk4 Anyway, do you guys think polyamorous people score differently on the different love styles than non-polyamorous people? And how do you think a polyamorous relationship with someone who scores high on mania will work out?
Little thing I made, it's truly not the best but it took me almost 2 hours, so I hope you enjoy it! https://www.helloquizzy.com/tests/the-danganronpa-test EDIT: I'm most likely going to add another question so that it's possible to get 100% even without answering question 4 with their real name. EDIT 2: It seems the last tier is actually unreachable, I'll get on fixing this as soon as possible.

2016.07.19 09:31 gandraschHelp, I want to support the Bucks
I'm a football fan (soccer) since I'm a kid, but always was also interested in Basketball (not really the NBA though) and other US Sports. And since my football teams can be a bit boring and frustrating at times (Arsenal) and I'm a sports (fan) nerd, always looking to learn new things, I'm looking to get deeper into US Sports especially basketball. And I choose the Bucks, because I've done a stupid test (https://www.helloquizzy.com/tests/the-which-nba-team-is-for-you-test-1) and then read this post here: https://www.reddit.com/nba/comments/3loviwhat_nba_team_should_i_support/cv89f0r It was like a miracle. Also east coast is far more accessible as European. So I've started with wikipedia but now want to know more in depth knowledge of the team, the tactics, the D-League, the owner, old legends and anything I need to know. This is kinda strange request, but maybe you will win over a lifetime fan as I'm very dedicated once I commit to something :) Thanks and have a great day!
2016.05.11 21:32 CadeyrnDragheimThis is a very weird question - but here goes nothing! (an rpg class quiz)
So i did a very interesting Fantasy RPG class quiz and i got the Mirror Mage . Here is what the variables mean http://fantasy-test.livejournal.com/854.html Now i was thinking what type of build or playstyle this would fit. Since i had some medium-high variables in Strength, Intelligence, Spirit and Vitality i think that a build focused on some medium stats in melee (like 20/20), A bit of hp (30 vigor) and magic, but since i don't really like sorceries, i think a focus mostly on miracles and maybe some pyromancies for the highly damaging spells would be the best. Thoughts?
Hey there! I just thought of something that could be fun to do - typing MBTI classes into RPG classes... Or was it the contrary? Anyway, the goal would be to describe which type matches the according class in terms of abilities and overall lore and reputation. We're not deciding which class would be played by a certain type. (Example : The assassin seems ISTJ-ish in terms of abilities, yet might be played by a lot of INTJs. But we discard that last detail) I helped myself with the HelloQuizzy class test mostly but feel free to pull your classes from anywhere! Here are a few that I can think of :
ISTJ The Assassin - Unlike the ISTP, more sneaky and focused on one dagger instead of many tools
INTJ The Assassin Mage - I am not sure dark-mage fits completely. It could also be other elemental mages?
ENTJ The Soul Fighter from Blade And Soul. I thought of The Psionic Striker from the HelloQuizzy test, but it is a bit too overpowered. Basically I'd see a mix of physical and magic, strenght & speed at the cost of being a class cannon.
https://www.helloquizzy.com/tests/the-golden-compass-daemon-test I've taken this quiz a few times over the years with some minor changes in my results here and there, would be curious to know what everyone's else's results are and how they feel about them. Granted its not exact but the the test is fairly in depth and it seems like there are a lot of possible outcomes. I got a jokester soul, with the suggested form I most resonate with being the Baboon. It seems like a pretty good match all in all.

2015.10.04 21:33 MaldarrienNMS and the Four Gamer Types
In 1996, a man named Richard Bartle devised a theory and a test for classifying gamers. The test was specifically targeted at classifying players of MUDs, but has been applied to other games. Some argue that it doesn't apply to all game types. Others continue to keep it in mind when designing their games. While it is a simplification, I believe it is a handy guide to gauge what type of player is going to enjoy or be engaged by a game. According to the theory, every gamer falls on a chart with two axes. The opposites ends of the one axis is "players" versus "world". The opposite ends of the other axis is "acting" versus "interacting". For purposes of this discussion, "acting" can be thought of as conflicting, and "interacting" can be thought of as cooperating. This forms four quadrants, or player types, which every gamer falls into: Killers, Achievers, Socializers, and Explorers. Killers want conflict with players. Socializers want cooperation with players. Achievers want conflict with the game world. Explorers want interaction with the world. Again, this is an oversimplification, and gamers can shift type. In general, gamers have a dominant preference, but it's not unusual for someone that typically enjoys social interaction in their games to also enjoy PVP elements from time to time. What does this have to do with No Man's Sky? I've watched all of the footage, and I've lurked on this subreddit for awhile, and I can confidently say that No Man's Sky will appeal to a gamer type that is not usually targeted: The Explorer. Console games are typically targeted at Killers and Socializers. Killers are going to gravitate towards games like Call of Duty, for the rich PvP elements. Whenever these games have a co-op mode, Socializers will find appeal, working with their friends against a common goal. Achievers can be found across all genres, but I think the games that target Achievers the most are the "casual" games. Farmville, Animal Crossing, most of the games that were popular for a while on Facebook. Achievers want to acquire badges and unlock content. They also like the single player campaigns in games like Metal Gear. Explorers want to, well, explore. Sandbox games are where you'll find explorers. And they'll do things that seem a little crazy, like drive around the streets in a Grand Theft Auto. Explorers are the ones wandering off into the wilderness in sandbox games and MMOs, just to see what's there. No Man's Sky is unique, in that it caters to the Explorer gamer type first, and the others second. Socializers and Killers don't even see the point of the game. They're going to ask questions about meeting up with players. They're going to ask questions about how to destroy a planet, so that it impacts other people. Socializers and Killers are not well served by No Man's Sky. Achievers may be well served. The creatures and sentinels that we run into may serve the need to find conflict with the world. It's Explorers that are served first and foremost, and that's rare. There will always be another horizon to reach for the Explorer in this game. There will always be more places to go, new things to discover, something else to see. Will the game be fun? If you can be an Explorer type, then absolutely. If you are most comfortable as a Socializer or a Killer, then you probably won't find much fun in this game. This isn't going to scratch the same itch as Call of Duty. Socializers aren't going to feel connected in this game, the way they do in an MMO. As for me, I think I'm going to have fun. I'll need other games, because sometimes I need to be a Socializer or an Achiever. But this is the first game that I've seen where being an Explorer comes first, and I'm excited. EDIT: Here are some links from the comments below: More in-depth info on the Bartle typology Online test that is similar to the Bartle Test Wiki on Four Temperaments, a similar concept and possible inspiration for Bartle
2015.09.21 07:22 RyanVTHD2304Week 5: Dating, Mate Selection, & Love
Here we go! This week is all about different states of being related to intimate relationships. We are going to start with dating and mate selection, which also includes the topic of love. In this thread you'll see the content slides and an assortment of videos that are mostly funny, yet help make sense of the materials. This is the most "involved" thread - you're going to have a chance to discover your love style, attachment style, and love language as part of Brief Assignment 2. This content will connect nicely with dating, and also with the communication unit later in the semester. Part 1: Dating & Mate Selection Something I want to make a point of saying: we often define concepts like dating, singlehood, and cohabitation (the latter 2 are covered next week) as the absence of marriage. Marriage is considered the gold standard (you'll see that in a few weeks), so much so that society (and even the book) define these concepts not by what they are, but by what they are not. This is bothersome, because it assumes that everyone wants to get married, which is wholly untrue. If you are dating, you're dating - not necessarily leading yourself to marriage (though you certainly could be). More on singlehood as it relates to this idea next week. Anyway, just be mindful that dating and mate selection are things that exist whether marriage does or not. Content Slides for Dating & Mate Selection - As always, here's that major content that is important for you to know - this will help you make better sense of the videos that are attached to this topic. Determining What You're Into Perhaps one of the more moving clips you'll see this unit is the following video. It can be really uncomfortable to watch for some people, and I fully acknowledge that. I've shown this in class in both the fall and spring, and received feedback that it sends a powerful message. I'm hoping you'll feel the same way. This hits directly on the physical attractiveness concept from Filter Theory, and it connects physical attraction to not just other concepts from the content slides (like the Halo Effect), but from the privilege content from last week (specifically gender privilege - but with added body privilege). Take a moment after the video to wrestle with what you watched, and try to connect it to the materials you read about above. Dating and Physical Attraction This picture goes along with the last video: Looks Don't Matter Another humorous clip - I know, I know, lots of Louis this week, but he pretty much nails this topic on the head. This 6 minute clip touches on almost everything from the content slides, so make sure you read them first. He talks about Filter Theory, the dangers of dating, the courage it takes to date, what people are up against when they date, and what the dating process can actually look like for people. Like most of his stuff - it's actually highly intellectual and extends far beyond the realm of "it's funny". You'll (hopefully) see what I mean while you watch. Louis CK on Dating This short clip about Tindrella is funny and mostly breaks up the content, but it does have a nice message about the way hook up culture and online dating apps work/ affect relationships/ a sense of self. Tindr This is a super short article about how bad people are at recognizing flirtation. For any of you that feel like you're horrible at this, know that you aren't alone! Flirting I really hope you'll like the following clip. It's a brief talk from Dan Savage (whom you may have heard of) that talks about what we sometimes have to give up to enjoy a relationship with somebody we love. He calls it the price of admission. Think about how this relates to all of the reasons we get together, Filter Theory, and the way relationships don't necessarily just say something about the person we are with, but about ourselves as well. The Price of Admission I came across this post a few months back and wanted to make sure I included it here. It's absolutely fascinating to see what happened when this Reddit user (male) pretended to be an attractive straight woman on Kik messenger. It really shines some perspective on how difficult and even dangerous the online dating market can be, particularly for women. What It's Like To Be Attractive on a Dating App Part 2: Love - Styles, Languages, and Attachment Many of us cite love as being the thing we need in an intimate relationship. But what is it? How do we know we are loved, and how do we do the loving? This part ties in with dating and mate selection since that's the number one reason people cite a desire to date and (if they choose) marry. Love is multifaceted - it has many dimensions. It can be romantic, exciting, obsessive, and irrational. It can also be platonic, altruistic, and practical. Love defies a single definition because it varies in degree and intensity and in different social contexts. Love tends to be based on respect, and it is often highly demanding, especially when it's long-term love. It's full of caring, intimacy, and commitment. To help us with our definition of love, watch the following 5 minute TED Clip by Brad Troeger. What Is Love? The following clip is a TED Talk by Brenee Brown that discusses the power of vulnerability, shame, and love. This is one of the most watched TED Talks out there, and there isn't much of a description I could write that does it justice. Just watch it and take it all in - there's so much packed into this 20 minute clip. Brenee Brown on Vulnerability and Love Brief Activity 2 TAKE THE FOLLOWING THREE TESTS BEFORE YOU READ THE CONTENT SLIDES The following 3 tests make up Brief Activity 2. Many of you lost points for not following directions for Brief Activity 1 - make sure you follow these directions, as it is incredibly important. Failure to follow them will result in a 0 for the assignment. You will take the following 3 tests, and after each one, follow the instructions that I have written. After you've completed the following 3 tests and followed the directions, you are to submit it to your drop box AS A PDF with the label "Brief Activity 2" by 11:59pm on Sunday. 1) Lee's Love Styles: this is a 42 item questionnaire (don't worry it won't take that long) that will produce your love style. Write down the percentages and include them at the top of your write-up. 2) Attachment Style: this will take you about 5ish minutes to complete. When you finish, it will provide you with a description of your attachment style. It will plot it on a graph - take a picture or screenshot of that graph and paste it into your write-up (or, alternatively, you may upload the image to your drop box as as a separate file - label it "Attachment Style"). 3) Love Language: You will need to sign up with an email (you can use a fake one). At the end, they will provide scores for each of the 5 love languages. Write them down at the top of your write-up. Now that you've taken these tests, read through this set of content slides to have a better sense of what this actually means. I eliminated a bunch of psychological mumbo-jumbo so that the slides are a bit more basic and comprehendable. Love & Attachment Slides Once you've finished the tests and gone through the slides, write a 2 paragraph reflection. What was it like to take these tests? Do you feel like they were accurate? Did they miss anything that you think is important? Do you think other members of your family (parents/guardians/siblings/etc.) are similar or different to you? Why? I'm happy to expand on the psychological aspects of this stuff if you ask me to in your comment/have any specific questions about how these different love languages, styles, and attachment styles intersect with one-another. Optional Clip - This is a really cool video (4 min) of Louis professing his love for Pamela. It's a neat illustration of just how powerful of an emotion love can truly be, even if somebody isn't reciprocating it. Louis Expresses Love
Came across this beauty on the interwebs. http://www.helloquizzy.com/tests/the-which-character-on-supernatural-are-you-most-like-test It has a lot more minor-ish characters (because it tries to find a male character and a female one for each type) but I think what we see of these characters are better examples of their types. I'm an ENTP and female-identified so therefore apparently Eve, but only because they don't have Charlie as a result, otherwise she probably would be in that spot. So based on your MBTI and your gender identity (if you're off the binary, choose whichever character you like best), which SPN character are you most like?
