2019.11.01 19:04 Rsubs33 [Game Preview] Week 9 - Philadelphia Eagles(4-4) vs. Chicago Bears (3-4)

Philadelphia Eagles (4-4) vs Chicago Bears(3-4)
The Eagles return to the friendly confines of Lincoln Financial Field Sunday after salvaging one win on their 3 game road trip taking care of business against the Buffalo Bills last week. They welcome the Chicago Bears to town in a rematch of last years NFC wildcard round and the second matchup of the Battle of Reid’s Bastards. where the Eagles squeaked out a win after the double doink missed field goal by Cody Parkey. The Eagles offense has struggled this season, but found a rhythm last week against a tough Bills defense by pounded it on the ground. They will need to do the same this week to slow out the always disruptive Khalil Mack. Part of that ground attack will be former Bear Jordan Howard who will look for some revenge on his former team after he was traded to Philadelphia in the offseason. In the passing game, the Eagles may get a boost with the return of the speedy Desaen Jackson who hasn’t played since week 1 where he put up 152 yards and 2 TDs in the season opener. Jackson was a limited participant this week, and is listed as questionable, but if he returns to the lineup it will be an immediate upgrade in the receiving corp giving Wentz a speedy deep threat and a guy with excellent hands who is always dangerous in space. On the defensive side, the Eagles will try to limit the Bears ground game and force Mitchell Trubkisky to beat him with his arm, something he has struggled with this season. Cox and Graham seemed to find their grove last week against the Bills and new Eagle Genard Avery will look to make and impact as well. Avonte Maddox will also resume his duties in the slot after missing the last three games with a neck injury. If the Eagles can get their offense going and get some turnovers on defense it should lead to an Eagle victory at the Linc.

Eagles 16 - Bears 15
In the battle of Reid’s Bastards, Pederson’s team struck first as the Eagles scored on a Jake Elliott field goal on the opening possession. The scoring went silent until a Nick Foles INT set up a FG for the Bears to bring the score to a tie, the Bears added another field to take the Bears into halftime up 6-3. The Eagles took the lead on their first possession of the second half with a Dallas Goedert TD before the Bears answered with a TD and FG of their own to take a 15-10 lead. The Philadelphia Eagles needed help to get into the playoffs, and Chicago provided it. The Eagles repaid them by knocking off the number defense for the second year in a row in the playoffs to send the Bears home. Foles lead the Eagles offense down field and scored a Golden Tate TD with under a minute to go in the game. The Bears marched down the field with a chance to answer and come away with the win on a last second field. Pederson iced Parkey on his first attempt when he lined up for his second shot. He lined up and kicked it with a slightly low trajectory, just low enough for the pinky of Trayvon Hester alter the flight and cause a double doink off the upright and crossbar. The Philadelphia Eagles needed help to get into the playoffs, and Chicago provided it. The Eagles repaid them by sending them home in the wildcard round as Pederson came out victorious in the Battle of Reid’s bastards.

Recap from Last Week’s Games.
Eagles
Video Have spending a week churning on 37-10 loss to the Cowboys, the Eagles responded with a 31-13 win over the Bills. The Eagles defense set the tone and the Eagles pounded the ball on the ground on the windy New York afternoon. The Eagles took control by scoring touchdowns 83 seconds apart spanning halftime to build a 17-7 lead. Graham's forced fumble of quarterback Josh Allen at Buffalo's 24 led to Carson Wentz hitting Dallas Goedert for a 5-yard touchdown catch with 25 seconds left in the second quarter. On the second snap from scrimmage in the third quarter, Sanders followed Howard's block of linebacker Matt Milano in bursting up the left sideline. The second-round draft pick celebrated his touchdown by leaping into a group of Eagles fans in the northeast corner of the endzone's stands. After the Bills answered with a Devin Singletary score on a 28-yard catch on Buffalo's next possession, the Eagles responded with Wentz overseeing a six-play, 68-yard touchdown drive capped by Boston Scott's 4-yard touchdown run. The Eagles finished with 218 yards on the ground their highest total in a game since 2014.
Bears
Video Three straight punts preceded Piñeiro's 33-yard field goal hitting the right upright. On the Chargers' ensuing drive, Fuller intercepted Philip Rivers and returned it to the Chargers' four-yard line, but the offense struggled to gain a yard, leading to Piñeiro making a 27-yard kick. Chicago reached Los Angeles' nine-yard line but only reached their seven; Piñeiro kicked a 25-yard field goal. The Chargers answered with a four-play, 75-yard drive that ended with Melvin Gordon's four-yard touchdown run. Down by one, the Bears reached the Chargers' five-yard line with help from Montgomery's 55-yard run, but further red zone woes persisted, leading to Piñeiro giving his team the 9–7 lead on a 19-yard kick. To start the second half, the Bears mounted an 11-play, 75-yard series that included eight rushes as Montgomery recorded a four-yard score. Chase McLaughlin made a 20-yard field goal to end the third quarter. Early in the final period, Trubisky was intercepted by Casey Hayward, but McLaughlin's 42-yard kick was wide right; the Chargers regained possession on the next series after Trubisky lost a fumble on his 26-yard line. The takeaway led to Rivers' go-ahead score to Austin Ekeler. After two drives ending with punts, the Bears got the ball back on their 35 with 1:33 remaining in the game. Although Trubisky led the Bears to the Chargers' 21, Nagy called to kneel to run down the clock and set up Piñeiro's potential game-winning 41-yard kick. The kick went wide left as time expired,] marking the Bears' first three-game losing streak under Nagy.

Stats to Know
Bears’ Play Action Passing
In 2019, Mitchell Trubisky is averaging a higher Yards Per Attempt and slightly higher Completion % via Play Action than not (6.0 vs. 5.5 & 65.6% vs. 64.4%). Trubisky is only using Play Action 16.7% of dropbacks, which is 2nd-lowest of all QBs. It’s kind-of tough to threaten a team with Play Action when your running game is playing so relatively poorly (no Bears RB is better than 71st in RB Yards After Contact or 62nd in Yards Per Attempt. The best a Bears RB fares in overall Offensive PFF Grade is 58th.
Matchups to Watch
Bears Defensive Line vs Eagles Offensive Line… or Andre Dillard
Everyone who covers the Eagles is quick to point out the likely matchup between Khalil Mack and Andre Dillard for good reason. While the Bears will move Mack all over the defensive front, he will likely get the bulk of his snaps across from the Eagles rookie tackle. Dillard has shown steady improvement since taking over for the injured Jason Peters. He is a great athlete at the position and moves very well for a man his size. Additionally, he’s pretty good in the run game despite the common criticism of him in that area in the pre-draft process. One area of his game that Dillard must improve, which will take his game to greater heights, his is ability to handle power rushes and to anchor. Right now, that ability is somewhat limited, likely due to his college coaching and competition. In the PAC-12, Dillard didn’t face the quality of rushers a lot of other prospects get to face in the Power 5 conferences; additionally, he wasn’t asked to do a variety of pass blocking sets in the scheme Washington State runs. Khalil Mack makes life difficult for All-Pro Offensive Linemen putting Dillard under the microscope on Sunday. Mack isn’t the only good player on this defensive front. The Eagles will catch a break with stud IDL Akiem Hicks on IR but the Bears still have Eddie Goldman with other effective rotational linemen behind him. Leonard Floyd has also emerged as a quality EDGE opposite Mack. Chuck Pagano isn’t afraid to bring the athletic linebackers they have on blitzes either. While this Bears defense isn’t producing turnovers at the insane rate they did last year, this is still a stout defensive front that has kept the team in games. They haven’t let the team down this year. This is a significant matchup for the Eagles given the quality of the opposition and their own offensive struggles. Can Dillard quickly rise to the occasion? How do the Eagles game plan, or alter what they’ve done, to account for Mack?
Bears Defense vs. Eagles Newly Dated Offensive Game Plan
Listen, running 40 times per game and averaging 5 YPC in the process is great to watch since we get to see the soul taken from our opponent. This happened last week against the Bills, especially on the 8 minute drive the Eagles had to effectively end the game. The issue with the philosophy is it’s normally an inefficient and ineffective way to win football games. Since the Eagles Super Bowl season, they have become more run oriented, with that shift occurring sharply this year. Part of the reason is due to injury; Desean Jackson figured to be a large part of the Eagles attack and can’t when he is injured. Another reason is due to players underperforming expectations. Alshon Jeffery is a solid receiver, but Nelson Agholor has remained the general liability he’s always been while somehow regressing and Mack Hollins is basically useless. Don’t even get my started with whatever is going on with JJAW. The Eagles are getting nothing from their WRs and the offensive coaching staff isn’t doing a good enough job scheming an offensive attack while suffering from roster construction issues. The Eagles are currently the 17th best offense by DVOA – 19th rushing, 14th passing. That’s not going to get it done for this team. The Eagles problems from 2018 have continued into 2019 while getting slightly worse. This is a Bears defense that is 7th in DVOA. This is a perfectly winnable game for the Eagles but their offensive struggles could keep this game too close for comfort. This is a long term problem for the Eagles this season and one that could have ramifications Sunday. Against a tough Bills defense, on the road, and in poor weather conditions, the coaches had a good game plan on offense that lead to the win. That’s not something the Eagles have consistently had this year. Part of the turnaround the Eagles need to have rests on the offenses ability to improve; improving the struggling passing game would work wonders for this team. The Eagles will likely have Desean Jackson back on Sunday. How effective he’ll be and what that means for the Eagles offense is huge. Ultimately, it’s a coaching and player execution problem above all else. Wentz hasn’t been the problem this year, which will aid in the turn around.
Bears Offensive Line vs Eagles Defensive Front
It has been slow-going for the Eagles defensive front on the season but it appears that this unit is starting to become a more effective group. The Bears offensive line is decent but isn’t playing at the level it has previously. Furthermore, their best offensive lineman, Kyle Long, is done for the season with injury. Fletcher Cox is fresh off a strong performance and appears to be rounding into form; the effectiveness of the Eagles pass rush rests on Cox given his dynamic ability. Brandon Graham also appears to be returning to a move effective form after notching a sack and forcing a key fumble last week in Buffalo. Derek Barnett has put together consecutive good performances which the Eagles really need. Prior to the trade deadline, the Eagles added Genard Avery via trade with the Browns. While Avery has been a healthy scratch this season, his play last year has shown him to be a more effective day 3 rusher than Shareef Miller has been for the Eagles in 2019 – not great. Avery is a pure pass rusher, though undersized. In Gregg Williams scheme, Avery was a good rotational rusher, which is where he thrives. Avery was a bit miscast under Steve Wilks this season since Avery isn’t effective dropping into coverage and playing in space. I don’t understand why coaches like Wilks don’t adapt their scheme to fit their personnel but what do I know? Either way, the Eagles still have issues in pass coverage. What is the best way to hide that? That’s right, pass rush. The Eagles still have a good defensive line that is slowly getting better each week. They face a QB that is a mess all around and an offensive line that isn’t as good as it needs to be to make up the difference. Pressure can force QBs into making mistakes; this is huge against Trubisky, who makes mistakes when he isn’t under pressure.
Bears Passing Offense vs Eagles Passing Defense
For the second consecutive week, the Eagles will face a QB that is a better RB than he is QB. The Eagles secondary has made fewer mistakes with the return of the swag-tastic Jalen Mills and Ronald Darby but “fewer” is deceiving. Simply put, the Eagles are up against another middling to bad offense and a passing attack this week that they need to take advantage of. The biggest issue they face this week are the Bears receiving options. Allen Robinson is a very good receiver and easily the best receiver Philly has seen since Amari Cooper. Taylor Gabriel, Anthony Miller, and Tarik Cohen are all playmakers in their own right. This is a deeper group of weapons the Bears have to work with than Josh Allen has. It’s just the QB is considerably worse with an offensive scheme that has regressed mightily. The Bears offense is ranked 28th by DVOA – 21st passing, 27th rushing – and it shows when you watch them. Allen Robinson is really the only player Trubisky can seem to get the ball to and he regularly struggles with that. The Eagles secondary was “better” against the Bills… but not really. Allen had issues locating open receivers for various reasons (pressure, general inability) that left points on the field for their offense. The Eagles still haven’t cleaned up a lot of the mistakes that regularly plague them. Their opponent this week may afford them the opportunity to skirt disaster again but all it takes is one mistake to cost them the game. The Eagles aren’t in a position to give up games against teams they should beat so every possession matters. The defense, while struggling, should be able to handle what the Bears will throw their way. More consistent execution from the players and coaches would work wonders here. Keep the Bears in a hole – force their offense to chase. Play and coach smart.

2019.01.03 21:08 Rsubs33 [Game Preview] Playoff Edition Wildcard Round - Chicago Bears (12-4) vs Philadelphia Eagles(9-7)

Philadelphia Eagles (9-7) at Chicago Bears (12-4)
Old Saint Nick delivered his Christmas gift of putting the Eagles in the playoffs with a little help from his next opponent the Chicago Bears who beat their division rival Redskins to knock the Vikings out of the playoffs allowing the Eagles to sneak in with their win over the rival Redskins. Nick will have to use all the magic left in that big ol dick of his this week as the Bears come into the game with the best defense in football and are in the top 10 in nearly every defensive category. Their defense was good last season, but went to great when they traded for Khalil Mack before the season started. Mack is a terror for opposing offenses with 12.5 sacks and 6 forced fumbles this season, the Eagles OL and Nick Foles will need to know where Mack is at all times on the football field. I expect the game plan will be similar to when the Eagles played Mack last season using a variety of double teams to keep him off his game. On the otherside the defense has been playing better of late and shut out the beat up Washington Redskins offense holding them to mere 89 yards on offense. They will be put to the test this week taking on Matt Nagy's offense that Trubisky has thrived in this season. The DL will need to find away to get past a talented Bears OL and wreak havoc in the backfield to make Trubisky uncomfortable and stop the talented 1-2 punch of the Bears run game. The game will be a chess match between two old friends who should be very familiar with one another. Not only to Pederson and Nagy both come up under Andy Reid, but they both joined the Eagles staff in the 2009 and 2008 seasons and stayed with Reid when he went to Kansas City with Nagy taking the QB coach position and Pederson taking the OC slot. So coaching together for 7 straight seasons should give each other some ideas what the other will do and make for an entertaining football game. Go Birds!

Eagles 31 - Bears 3
he game many expected could be a trap for the Eagles turned into a rout of the Bears 31-3. The Eagles controlled both sides of the line of scrimmage and dominated the Bears running backs sending them the wrong direction as they ended the day with -6 yards rushing. The Eagles secondary also picked off Mitch Trubisky twice on the day. On offense, the Eagles running game was on point as they ran for 176 and Carson Wentz threw for 3 TDs and 227 yards before an early exit in the 4th quarter to prevent injury and give Nick Foles some playing time. The Eagles had their first 100 yard receiver this season as Zach Ertz crossed the century mark. The game wasn’t perfect though both Blount and Ajayi fumbled the football running and Malcom Jenkins fumbled after making a nice interception.

Eagles 29 - Bears 16
In Wentz’s second career game he threw for 190 yards and a TD while showing plenty of poise, just as he did in his debut against Cleveland. Ryan Mathews found the end zone two times rushing. The Eagles held the Bears in check most of the day and while Philadelphia was pulling away, Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler walked to the locker room with a right thumb injury and did not return. That was the biggest blow for the Bears (0-2), who lost several players and fell again after opening with a loss at Houston. It's not the sort of start they envisioned in their second year under coach John Fox after finishing last in the NFC North. But they continued to struggle at home, where they were 1-7 in 2016.

Recap from Last Week’s Games.
Eagles - Video – The Eagles looked to keep their season alive and Super Bowl MVP came out to play as Foles threw tied an NFL record for most consecutive completions when threw 25 straight completions that were part of 221 yards 2 TD 1 INT stat line. On the other side of the ball, the Eagles were even more dominant against a beat up Redskins offense holding them to a paltry 89 yards on offense in a shutout. Fletcher Cox feasted with 3 sacks in the game and Douglas had an interception as the Eagles got the job done against their division rival.
Bears - Video – The Bears took on their division rival with a bye at stake if the 49ers were able to pull an upset over on the Rams. The Vikings had more to play for as they were win and in for the playoffs came out flat as the Bears dominated them in every aspect of the football game. The Vikings 84 million dollar man does what he does in big games and crumbled throwing for just 132 yards and a TD. Meanwhile, the Bears refused to let up as Howard and Cohen combined for 134 yards and 3 TDs on the ground. Once the Ramns game was out of reach many backups came in for the Bears, but it didn't make a lick of difference as they held onto the win and knocked their division rival out of the playoffs allowing the Eagles to sneak in who they will play this Sunday.

Fun Fact
On New Year’s Eve, 1988, the Eagles lost a postseason heartbreaker to the Bears in Chicago, in a game that has gone down in history as “The Fog Bowl.” Meteorologically, the title was well-earned. Lake Michigan sent a blinding sheet of fog over Soldier Field late in the first half, and the haze stayed put until the very last play. Visibility was so bad that most players couldn’t see beyond 10 yards in front of their faces. Up in the public address booth, Bears play-by-play announcer Jim Riebandt had to get game updates relayed to him from an usher who was standing on the field with a two-way radio. Video

PFF Stats to Know
Chicago Running Backs
Tarik Cohen and Jordan Howard are going to need to be planned for. With injuries to the Eagles' defensive backfield, it's going to be a major task. Let's get to it. Cohen and Howard will not get many yards after contact (the Bears' offense generally does not generate much YAC or RAC). Cohen is ranked 58th and Howard is 37th in rushing yards after contact per attempt Cohen is tied for a close 2nd in % targets for overall snaps and 7th in % of his targets coming from the Slot. When aligned in the Slot, though, Cohen has generated the 2nd-most Yards Per Route Run, at 3.19. Overall, Cohen has the highest YPRR and 3rd-most receiving yards of RBs. Cohen has had an atrocious 7 fumbles in 2018 (3 lost). Jordan Howard is 7th in 1st Downs generated and 47th in Yards Per Attempt. Howard is 6th in Rushing Attempts (250), still, for 935 yards (14th).

Matchups to Watch
Eagles Offensive Line vs. Bears Pass Rush
The Eagles snuck into the playoffs after week 17 with some help from their current opponent 10 years after the 44-6 beat down of the Cowboys to accomplish the same feat. The Eagles enter the playoffs as the 6 seed and rightful underdogs even with the recent success and face a Bears team that is strong on both sides of the ball - especially on defense. There are many layers to this matchup but for the Eagles it'll always start up front. Prior to the season the Bears traded for Khalil Mack after Jon Gruden decided to be an idiot. The Bears defense was already pretty good but Mack pushed the unit over the top. The Eagles have game planned for Mack before when he was on the Raiders and held him in check for the most part. However, the depth of talent on the Bears defensive front far surpasses the talent on the Raiders 2017 defensive front. To make matters worse for the Eagles, the Bears defense is strong at all 3 levels so they'll really need to win regularly up front to have any kind of success on offense. Akiem Hicks is a stout IDL who is having a strong season in a year where IDL across the league are making big impacts. Eddie Goldman is another DT for the Bears and together with Hicks formed a formidable duo prior to Mack's arrival. Mack and Hicks both have over 50 pressures for Bears defense and force a lot of offenses into making mistakes. Additionally, the entire defensive front is stout against the run as well. This is a complete unit and will need the Eagles OL to rise to the occasion as they have so often of late. Lane Johnson, Brandon Brooks, and Jason Kelce form the best right side of an OL in the NFL and all are having All Pro caliber years. Despite not playing at his usual Hall of Fame level, Jason Peters is still a good left tackle and Wis or Seumalo can hold their own at LG. This is a premier battle that can really help the Eagles win since there are many layers to this Bears defense as it is that will make the Eagles offense earn everything it can get. In their push for the post season, the Eagles defense neutralized the pass rush for the Cowboys, Rams, Texans, and Redskins on two occasions. They'll need it again for this one.
Eagles Defensive Line vs. Bears Offensive Line
The Bears enter this contest with one of the best offensive lines in terms of pass blocking efficiency per PFF this season and have veteran Kyle Long making his second consecutive start after returning from injury. Additionally, Matt Nagy runs a creative offense that does a lot to ease the pressure the offensive line can face. Fletcher Cox is having another All Pro caliber season for the Eagles with 95 pressures (per PFF) this season; that number is second only to Aaron Donald in the NFL. That's not just for his position, that is for all pass rushers. Cox is a complete player that will likely draw a lot of attention from the Bears offensive line. They'll need Timmy Jernigan and Haloti Ngata to step up opposite him and make some noise with the 1v1 matchups they'll likely get. Furthermore, Michael Bennett, Chris Long, and Brandon Graham will need to continue with their high level of play of late and take advantages of the matchups they'll get with the extra attention Cox will receive. As with any young QB, Trubisky is far less effective as a passer when he is under pressure and can be prone to throwing an interceptable pass or two. The Eagles defense has been very opportunistic of late forcing a lot of turnovers. The depleted secondary has done their part but it's the defensive line that can really change the game. Trubisky has made a lot of progress since last year but is still mistake prone. This is fine for the Bears as he'll likely improve especially with the quality coaching he has around him. But for now, this Eagles defense can help win this game by forcing him into negative plays. Lastly, controlling the Bears offensive line in the run game will help make the offense one dimensional. Force the Bears offense into unfavorable down and distances and their success rate drops. It'll be important to keep them off schedule and the defensive line will play a big role in that.
Eagles Pass Defense vs Bears Weapons
The Bears have done a great job surrounding Trubisky with plenty of weapons that can attack and win against every defense in a variety of ways. They added the big body receiver in Allen Robinson, the speedster in Taylor Gabriel, the versatile WR Anthony Miller, Trey Burton, and finally Tarik Cohen as a natural matchup nightmare for any defense. All of these guys have a trump card that can help the offense win and all are solid route runners to give Trubisky space to throw the football. Jordan Howard is a solid running back and it'll be important to contain him but Tarik Cohen is the matchup nightmare the Eagles must contain. Cohen will line up everywhere and take a lot of snaps as a wide receiver which gives the Bears the ability put the offense up against favorable defensive alignments. He's explosive with the ball in his hands and is a true competitor. The offense is much more dynamic and explosive when he is on the field. Lately the Eagles defense has done a great job containing opposing RBs but the depth of weapons and the scheme Nagy runs will really test the Eagles back end. Jim Schwartz has done a great job helping this defense finish 12th in points allowed, 1st in red zone defense, and 6th best third down defense despite all of the injuries. They'll need that performance again against an offense that'll stress every blade of grass and take what you give them.
Eagles Pass Offense vs Bears Pass Defense
This is the matchup every fan should be worried about no matter how much you trust the coaches and QB to execute at a high level. The Bears enter this contest with the leagues best pass defense with plenty of high end talent and excellent coaching that have largely shut down their opposition all year. Additionally, the Bears secondary is incredible at forcing turnovers and lead the league by a large margin in interceptions. The Bears added a ton of playmakers on offense to help out Trubisky but have a ton of playmakers on defense to elevate the entire team. Few teams have been as good as the Bears have against the pass this year and 3 of the 4 that did it won the Super Bowl - leave it to the Vikings to choke. If there is a "weakness" to this defense it is outside at CB (Amukamara), LBs in coverage, and Eddie Jacksons injury status (though he'll likely play). Points will be tough to come by as will running. I would expect the coaching staff to try to use the short passing game like they did against the Texans as an extension of the run game to keep the offense on schedule. An additional benefit of this attack is it gives Foles high percentage throws to limit the potential for turnovers. The Eagles need to take this game to the Bears defense but do so smartly. Even if Amukamara is a "weak link" he really isn't a weak link. Even if the Bears don't have elite coverage LBs they have 2 Safeties that are great in coverage. It would be smart for the Eagles to take their shots with Alshon Jeffery as he is their best man coverage receiver. It would be pretty surprising for the Eagles to put up an offensive performance similar to the NFCCG but they do have the talent to be able to at least score some points. They just need to be mindful of all the things Fangio does on the back end to confuse the QB and generate turnovers. The offense needs to stay on schedule to limit low percentage opportunities.
Special thanks to MikeTysonChicken and abenyishay for their help in creating this Game Preview.

2018.09.21 18:11 gettotallygayaboutit Anyone else have a straight women fall in love with them for no reason?

I have had this happen before to me and right now I see it happening before my very eyes to this Gay Intern at work. We have a few interns and entry level employees where I work. They are all young... twenty-twenty-two-ish. Well there is one kid, we will call him "Todd" who sets my gaydar off like a Church Bell on Sunday morning. The kid is so obviously gay it's like he is floating on air when he walks. He has Lady Gaga and a movie poster for "Mommy Dearest" hanging in his cubical for God's Sakes!
Anyway, there is this girl who works there also we will call her Susan. Sort of shorter and Chubby and the amount of times she has her hair done and her nails and her wardrobe, you can tell she really doesn't have much of a self image and low self esteem. She is single and really Really REALLY wants a relationship. You know the type. She thinks she is validated only when she gets into a relationship with a well-groomed, fit and good looking guy.

Anyway, Susan has noticed Todd, a good looking younger guy who does NOT have a Girlfriend. Most of the other Interns and Entry Level people are all in relationships. In some cases they are even dating each other and they all go hang out. Well Susan sees Todd as alone and friendly and obviously develops a crush on him. I guess in her mind she is thinking "I can go after Todd and then Love happens and I am socially validated amongst my peers" type of thoughts...not to get too Freudian....
So, she has been crushing on him hard... completely oblivious to the gay-ness of Todd..... and Todd was obviously completely Oblivious to the fact Susan is in love with him. He just thinks she is being nice I guess. Or is a big fag-hag or something. So, I can see this train wreck coming from a mile away...
Long story short, Susan was being extra cool to Todd. Bringing him special things for lunch, like s'mores.... but Todd refuses as he is "careful about what he eats" but Susan scarfs them down without a second thought. There's several different things she has done to build a "friendship" with him. But.... as we all know.... the friendship only goes so far.

Anyway, One day I can hear her on the phone talking to some friend and saying she was going out to a movie this weekend with "Him" ..... (Incidentally, the Movie? Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again!....Totally Gay) Anyway she says how excited she was and that HE actually SUGGESTED that movie so they have so much in common (Duh! Including attraction to other dudes!)

So, this "friendship must have gone on for a few weeks of hanging out... But then something happened....

Susan has been outwardly rude to Todd. Todd seems awkward around the workplace now where as before he was always open and happy and bouncing off the walls with energy. Now he is subdued and quiet. Susan sees him walks past and she rolls her eyes with disgust.

Needless to say there is currently a tension in the office that was NOT there before.

My guess is that Todd must have either pointed out he was not interest in her, or maybe came out to her. Either way, I saw it coming from a MILE AWAY and I just enjoyed watching it unfold in front of my eyes. I mean most gays have been there. A woman, usually a chubbier one who is more average looking, pursues a guy who is single and well groomed. It turns out the guy is a closeted gay dude and the woman was clueless and lacks any sort of gaydar. Suddenly things turn awkward and uncomfortable for both.

I even heard Susan on the phone this morning talking to another friend. "We haven't talked to each other. I'm ignoring him." type of stuff.

Am I a terrible person for watching this and not saying anything? Just watching it pan out for entertainment purposes. I KNOW Todd is gay.... How many 22 yr old straight guys listen to Demi Lavato and have a photo of Adam Rippon the figure skater as desktop wallpaper? However, I did not feel saying anything was my place as he has never come out to me or anyone else in the office as far as I know. So I never said anything. But I think I could have definitely made his life easier had I told him Susan was on the prowl for him and he better distance himself before she develops serious feelings for him. I could also have pointed out to Susan that Todd might be gay. But I didn't feel it was my business.
So, Instead watched it all happen for entertainment purposes. Now I feel a bit guilty about it.

2018.07.04 16:04 Radiance64 I've Got A BUNCH Of Reasons This Movie STINKS! And Here's The Reasons Why!

A couple of YEARS ago Disney wanted to make a movie called THE SNOW QUEEN! But the idea was shelved. After the sucess of Tangled, Disney wanted to make a movie called "Frozen", But MAN I REALLY WANTED 2 SEE THAT! And A few years later I was watching Nickelodeon and I saw a commercial 4 "Frozen" Back then I wanted 2 see that movie, but a month or so later everyone that I knew had already seen it, I thought 2 myself I HAVE TO/GOT TO SEE THIS MOVIE! I asked my sister to take me to the mall by foot, just to see the movie but she got so stubborn, and said no. But around the time I got Pizza from the Target near that particular mall and "Frozen" I sat down in my room and watched it. I Liked the FIRST half of it but after the transition to the other half. I kind of started to think it was stupid. I mean I like Kristoff he's 1 cool dude. And his animal sidekick Sven. And I like Anna because she's an optimist. Olaf ("the comic relief" the snow man on the other hand reminds me of Mojo Jojo from The Powerpuff Girls, Plus Disney stole the name Olaf from one of the greatest villans in A Series Of Unfortunate Events. Hans the main villan is cool for a villan and he's not really that much of a villan just a secondary anti-hero. Elsa, on the other hand is probably the worst character, She's the MAIN Antihero AND the MAIN BAD-GUY! (Although I HATE IT when she REDEEMS herself.) Always shutting people out after she (not) purposely hurts Anna, Creating, A Blizzard, Turning Summer into Winter and Worst of all singing that HORRIBLE song "Let It Go"! During the second half I said to myself "Bah, sounds like a Badly done Snow Queen Disney Version to me," I thought. Boy in the 1st half did those little suckers get back at me. Now Let Me tell you the top 6 reasons on why I think frozen is so lame and stupid. 6: The Characters are so bland and that it needs a little bit more work... like I said before I mean I like Kristoff he's 1 cool dude. And his animal sidekick Sven. And I like Anna because she's an optimist. Olaf ("the comic relief") the snow man on the other hand reminds me of Mojo Jojo from The Powerpuff Girls, Plus Disney stole the name Olaf from one of the greatest villans in A Series Of Unfortunate Events. ( I'll get to Let it Go in a minute). 5: Disney should have done a better job, I mean critics and random general people say it's great as "The Lion King" but it's NOT! If it was the same level as "The Lion King", It would have been MUCH darker and scarier, have at least one sacrifice, at least ONE FLIGHT sequence, be a Miyazaki-inspired movie, have the main bad-guy have magical powers, have Olaf and Sven tell Anna to not worry in a.... Hakuna Matata fashion, have Anna and Elsa's parents killed in a different way(Like falling off a hill etc.), Have a greater song then "Let It Go", (although Love is An Open Door reminded me my sister and our friends of High School Musical which is a great movie I buy every of it's merchandise at the Target I mentioned earlier tonight also the Love Is An Open Door song is like Hakuna Matata HSM style... by the lyrics Anna: Say goodbye Hans: Say goodbye Both: To the pain of the past We don't have to feel it any more.... see? And the movie would have more responsibility lessons, and it would have a better song than that silly "Let It Go"! So there. 4: "Frozen" deserves less the attention it can get! "Frozen" is an overappreciated movie! It won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, an Annie, a Kids Choice Awards etc. Ever go to the Disney Store sometime? If you do, you've no doubt noticed that about 80% of the merchandise that place has for television shows are for JETIX-airing shows that Disney didn't make. Sheesh! P.S. I'm a huge JETIX fan. and I'm a BOY! All i'm saying is that I want GREAT movies like The Wind Rises, Despicable Me 2, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2, Monsters University etc. to get more attention that that dumb "Frozen"! 4 the 2nd time Sheesh! 3:It's Disney! How could the stoop so low?! SHUT UP! The reason that "Frozen" is so popular is just an attempt by Disney to get more MONEY! That's because unlike some other products Disney's made they were not at the level as the greatest film of all time. 2: Teamo Supremo, Beyblade And Phineas And Ferb are much cooler Disney products. I mean the suckish "Frozen" targets 5 year old girls and Teamo Supremo, Beyblade And Phineas And Ferb etc. target 6-year-old boys I mean those tv shows are MUCH more Awesome! Those shows would win over the stupid "Frozen" Plus Candace from Phineas and Ferb is voiced by Ashley Tisdale (HSM Suite Life Of Zach and Cody). Beyblade was a JETIX show 4 once (since I am a JETIX fan). And Teamo Supremo, Crandall & Brenda make the CUTEST Disney Couple! Nuff Said. Finally the #1 I think "Frozen" sucks is because of the song "Let It Go"! Everytime I hear it it stays in my head! Honestly After "Let It Go" it just started to go downhill. (Although I do like the Demi Lavato version she's dating That 70's Show's Fez!) SERIOUSLY Disney pretend that 'Frozen" was never around so I can get on with my life! 4 the 3rd time Sheesh! Sorry If I offened anyone with the reasons you suck speech 2 "Frozen" I just am so ANGRY at "Frozen"! if there is anyone out there who hates "Frozen" create a Twitter,YouTube,Instagram,FaceBook,Tumblr,Vine,Blog,Pi-ntrest,etc. And Even SKYPE! and call it FrozenHaters and if anyone out there who feels the same way as me on your FrozenHaters page put hashtag #IHateFrozen and on May 1st 2014 we will announce how many people hate "Frozen" I'm not saying I hate Disney I just think they could have done a better job. So until then I'll catch you on the flipside?!

2018.04.03 21:58 skyy89 I hope I am allowed to post-not sure if this makes me a lesbian

Hello,
I am new to reddit. I don't know if there are other platforms I should post this too. I understand this platform is for lesbians and I thought you may be more educated on what I am experiencing.
I am a 29 year old woman who never questioned my sexual orientation in the sense that all my life so far when I am around men I have always noticed and been attracted to some of them. With women, well, they just exist as friends ...basically I have never felt any sexual or emotional intimate feelings for any woman I have ever met face to face in my life.
But yesterday I came across a viral video of demi lavato kissing her maybe new girlfriend and gyrating her hips on top of the girl on stage. I am not attracted to demi or the other girl at all but I got turned on by what I saw in the video. This has left me confused if this makes me a bisexual or a lesbian? I know this must sound like a really "how old are you to be asking this" type of question lol but I really am confused how I was turned on by acts I am not remotely interested in engaging in and more particularly how I was turned on by people I am not attracted to at all.
I really am confused by my being turned on when i do not find demi lavota attractive in that type of way. I don't even follow her music or her social media. I think she is a pretty enough person and the girl with her too but pretty as in a non sexual way.
Also I have never been intimate with a guy so I think alot of things are making me question the reaction I had to the video. The reason I have never been intimate with a guy is because I have alot of life long insecurities about my weight and appearance. It has got in the way of me accepting any dates. I am working through these issues but taking my time as I have spent a lot of my life being really hard on myself.
